Download SVG from a website

To download the SVGs from a website, paste its link into Sitepeel’s free SVG downloader. It finds inline SVG icons, symbols inside SVG sprites, SVG files and SVGs in stylesheets, hidden ones too. Copy any icon’s code, download it as a .svg file, or get them all in one ZIP.

Every kind of SVG on a page

Most icons have no file to right-click. Each one here becomes its own .svg.

  • Inline SVGIcons and logos written into the page’s HTML, each saved as a file.
  • Sprite symbolsEach <symbol> in an SVG sprite becomes its own icon, named after its id.
  • SVG filesLogos and pictures the page loads as .svg images.
  • SVGs in CSSBackgrounds, masks and list bullets set in stylesheets, hover states included.
  • Copy the codeOpen any icon and press Copy SVG code. Figma turns a pasted SVG into an editable vector.
  • Images and fonts tooThe same run finds the page’s images, video, fonts and 3D models.

Good to know

  • Icon fonts, like Font Awesome loaded as a font, are fonts, not SVGs: the asset extractor lists them under Fonts.
  • Charts and drawings a script makes after the page loads are listed if they were on the page when we read it.
  • Many sites use paid icon sets. Check the license, or ask the owner, before you reuse an icon.

FAQ

Questions about the SVG downloader

What is an SVG downloader?

A tool that finds the SVG images and icons on a web page and saves them as .svg files. Sitepeel also saves inline SVGs and sprite icons, which you can’t right-click to save.

How do I download an SVG from a website?

Paste the link and press Get SVGs. Open any icon, then press Download or Copy SVG code, or press ZIP for all of them. Our guide shows other ways to download SVGs from a website.

Why can’t I right-click to save an SVG?

Most icons are written into the page’s HTML or drawn from a sprite, so there is no file to save. This tool saves each one as its own .svg file.

Does it find icons in SVG sprites?

Yes. Each symbol in a sprite becomes its own SVG, named after its id, ready to use on its own.

Can I copy the SVG code into Figma?

Yes. Open an icon, press Copy SVG code and paste it into Figma, which turns it into an editable vector.

How do I get a website’s SVG logo?

If the site draws its logo as SVG, it is in the list: search for logo, or look at the first icons, which follow the page’s order. Logos belong to their owners.

Is the SVG downloader free?

It works like the asset extractor: you get a few free runs to start, then sign in (free) to keep going, and lifetime access makes them unlimited.

Can I use the icons?

They belong to the site or the icon set’s maker. Check the license, or ask for permission, before you reuse them.
