Why do some websites show screenshots instead of a live preview?
Some sites block being shown inside other websites. For those, Sitepeel shows screenshots of the page at each screen size instead.
How does “Find layout problems” work?
Sitepeel loads the page at each selected size and reports content wider than the screen, very small text and small tap targets, with the problem areas outlined.
Can I pick my own devices?
Yes. Press Devices to choose up to 12 phones, tablets, laptops and monitors, or add a custom size like 1280x800. Your choice is saved in this browser.
Is the preview exactly like a real phone?
Live previews use your browser at each exact width, so layouts follow the size, but sites still see a desktop browser. Find layout problems opens the page as a real phone.
